RB Elite Rock Box, widely recognized as “one of the original human beat boxes,” is a versatile multi-instrumentalist music producer, recording artist, and live entertainer. He boasts an extraordinary musical pedigree, coming up under and raised by the legendary American singer-songwriter “Sylvester” and his iconic background singers “Two Tons O’ Fun“ (Izora Rhodes-Armstead and Martha Wash), who later became “The Weather Girls,” famous for their global smash hit “It’s Raining Men“.
Immersed in this rich environment of elite vocalists and showmanship, it wouldn’t be long before Rock Box put together his first rap group, “Rock Box and the Funky Fresh Crew.” The pioneering San Francisco trio also featured Oski and a young, aspiring emcee who would go on to achieve massive solo success: American rapper “Rappin’ 4-Tay”.
Before 4-Tay’s mainstream rise, it was specifically the duo of RB Elite Rock Box and Rappin’ 4-Tay who stepped forward to star in a historic piece of San Francisco culture, collaborating with municipal agencies to film the mid-1980s Mayor Dianne Feinstein Anti-Graffiti Music Video Campaign. Delivering the iconic “Word is born from Mayorstein” rap to local youth, the widespread regional buzz and invaluable studio experience gained alongside Rock Box directly paved the way for Rappin’ 4-Tay to land his legendary, breakout 1988 feature on Too $hort’s classic hit “Don’t Fight the Feelin’”.

Moore Jones Jr: or best known for his stage name “Mo Jones” is an Oakland Native who began his career at the age of 19 dancing with MC Hammer: Mo toured with MC Hammer nationally and internationally for 6 years. Mo eventually decided to pursue his career in comedy. Performing initially to small audiences in the Bay Area spawned the beginning of an awesome career performing nationally for 15 years. He has toured with Earthquake, George Wallace, Bruce Bruce, J Lamont and a long list of very notable comics. Today his “clean comedy” is a staple of his ordained ministry and his respect for his belief in God.
